Be Ready for a World Without the Web – Own the Entire* Planet in Your Pocket

When the grid goes down, your navigation doesn’t have to. This complete* offline world map is a self-contained ZIM file ~19 GiB in size built from OpenStreetMap data (ODbL licensed) and Sentinel-2 cloudless satellite imagery from EOX IT Services GmbH (released under CC BY 4.0) — about 2.8 million map/satellite tiles spanning 11 zoom levels (0-10), covering nearly every point on Earth*.
After combining .7z files (required because the file size of the .zim file exceeds the 16 GiB file size limit for Gumroad) using 7-Zip, just open the .zim file with Kiwix — the free, open-source offline reader that works on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, Raspberry Pi, and more — and you’ll have instant access to the globe without needing the internet.
✅ Full* global coverage in web mercator projection
✅ Works on any device that supports Kiwix and has sufficient storage
✅ Perfect for emergency preparedness, remote travel, or survival kits
Price: $50 — a one-time purchase for access to all versions (the current version v4, as well as older versions v1-v3) of the Offline World Map, a resource that could be priceless when it counts.
- v4 (current): released 2025-12-06, 18.7 GiB ZIM file, map data (from 2025) and satellite data, zoom levels 0-10, Leaflet-based navigation
- v3: released 2025-11-25, 10.0 GiB ZIM file, map data (from 2025) and satellite data, zoom levels 0-9 (equivalent to 0-10 for 256-px tiles), basic navigation

*Coverage is between 85.051129° north and south, due to use of the web mercator projection.
